Field Service Technician
ClearSKY Systems, Inc. is a Fixed Wireless Broadband Internet Service Provider. This is an opportunity to learn about Internet Service operations while growing your technical skills in a fast paced family atmosphere!
Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of broadband antenna equipment performed with exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Knowledge of various cable and connector types including but not limited to; cat 5e cabling, ability to route cable from exterior to the interior of a location keeping in mind the aesthetics of the building, grounding, broadband routers, switches and all connectors applicable for this type of cable.
- Connect customer’s PC to broadband router and Internet.
- Good communication skills in order to explain services and equipment operation to customers.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner, and be able to maintain a cooperative working relationship.
- Operate cell phone in accordance with company policy.
Installation Skills:
- Follow cabling procedures for wiring homes, businesses, and transmitter sites.
- Will require work on ladder, roof and other areas of a building in order to get the best performance. Will require use of drill and other power tools for professional installation.
Computer Skills:
- Basic understanding of computer networking.
- Ability to configure TCP/IP settings on Windows and OS X machines.
- Use of PC based applications to diagnose various communications equipment.
Qualifications:
- Possess valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record; be able to pass Competent Climber Certification and a background check, if required.
- Be physically fit without any work limitations, and be able to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods of time.
- Be professional in dress, speech, and manner, and possess a desire to learn supported with a love of technology.
- Be willing and able to work after normal business hours with on call duties.
- Ability to work alone and be able to evaluate the work completed to assure its quality.
- Working in a safe and effective manner, keeping work area clean at all times.
- Be self-starter with the ability to work independently without continuous supervision.

Sales/Marketing Associate
The Sales Associate will identify, solicit and oversee the relationship development of residential and business sales, and will solicit and cultivate effective key relationships.
Location: Verona, IL 60479
Compensation: Based on Experience
Responsibilities:
- Residential and business sales.
- Responsible for door to door mailings, promos, customer referral program, web site and social media.
- Responsible for executing sales strategy; including lead follow-ups and proposal writing.
- Must perform liaison functions between the customer and ClearSKY.
- Organize and label ClearSKY photos including tower shots, employee shots, repeaters, etc.
Skills:
- Must demonstrate a desire to learn, and an interest in technology.
- Must demonstrate the ability to maintain a cooperative working relationship.
- Must have the ability to quickly build a rapport and credibility.
- Must be able to handle multiple interruptions and adjustment to priorities.
- Must demonstrate personal accountability in prioritization.
- Must be punctual for appointments and meetings. Must be professional in attire and actions when representing ClearSKY and the ClearSKY brand.
Requirements for Role
Education/Experience:
High School diploma is required. Working towards a college degree in business, marketing, or communication is preferred.

Technical Support Representative
We are dedicated to providing our customers with excellent technical support where customer focus will exceed our customers’ expectations.

Compensation: Based on Experience
Responsibilities / Skills:
- In a courteous and professional manner, respond to inquiries by phone, email, and or in person, providing the information required on a timely basis.
- Communicate effectively with customers via telephone and email, with the ability to quickly build a rapport and credibility with the customers.
- Be able to troubleshoot and communicate effectively with customers, while maintaining customer records.
- Perform tasks that support client contact and excellent follow-up.
- Able to quickly acquire knowledge of ClearSKY technical support customer service standards.
- Have the desire to learn, supported with a love for technology.
- Perform other related duties as required and directed.
- Must have proven ability to work within a fast-paced, high-change, diverse, cooperative-working environment.
- Must demonstrate personal accountability to set priorities, organize workload, handle multiple interruptions, and meet deadlines while working within a flexible schedule to manage time effectively.
